Because working with a diaper service isn't like subscribing to Netflix, most people don't really know what it means. And that's okay. With the power of words, I will explain it as succinctly as possible.
1. Sign up! Congratulations. You just did a cool thing.
2. When signing up, you'll let us know what your due date is and where you live. Next, you'll get an email saying what your delivery/pick up day will be each week and when we'll deliver the goods.
3. One week before your due date, we'll stop by in Jean Claude Van Diaper to deliver everything you need to diaper your kiddo.
4. Utilize the site. We built tools into it so you can let us know things easily. Like when your baby is born and you're ready for your second drop off and first pick up.
5. Okay, so we stopped by to pick up dirties and deliver clean dipes. Now what?
6. We bring the diapers back to our warehouse where they are sorted and counted by hand. This is a glamorous business.
7. The diapers get professionally laundered in the same facility every week. The machines are huge, the cleaning agents are gentle, but strong, and everything gets very, very washed and sanitized.
8. After the dryers do their work, our team gets the diapers back, fold them, and get them ready to go out again. We use the numbers recorded from the sorting to dictate how many diapers to pack each week and send out to folks.
It might seem more difficult than just buying some chemically enhanced diapers at the store, but I promise you—we do all the dirty work. All you have to do is put dirty diapers outside and bring clean diapers inside one day a week. And, if you need anything at all, you can update your order on the site or send me an email at eric@dogooddiapers.com.
